Director General of the Karachi Development Authority, Zain-ul-Abideen Ansari, takes a significant step towards improving the organization's financial affairs.
On the instructions of Director General Karachi Development Authority Zainul Abideen Ansari, several shops were sealed in KDA Civic Center, taking action against shops that had been defaulting on rent and other dues for a long time. Director Estate and Enforcement KDA Syed Zain Shah, along with the concerned officers and staff, took action on the instructions of Director General KDA. On this occasion, Director General KDA Zainul Abideen Ansari said that to improve the financial affairs of the institution, it is necessary to start reforms from the institution itself. Effective use of KDA's resources and assets and timely collection of dues are important steps towards the institution's financial self-reliance. He said that if the tenants of the shops located in the Civic Center pay all the dues due to them, then the issue of restoration of the shops can be considered after fulfilling the regulations and legal requirements. The Director General KDA clarified that practical steps will be taken to directly benefit the employees and pensioners of KDA from the improvement in the financial resources of the institution. In this regard, priority is being given to the recovery of dues and better management of the institution's assets. According to the KDA administration, the purpose of the action is not to unduly affect any individual or business, but to recover long-overdue amounts and ensure the financial discipline of the institution.
