Director General of the Karachi Development Authority, Asif Jan Siddiqui, conducts a detailed visit to the Munawar Chowrangi underpass and development projects in Scheme 33.
Director General Karachi Development Authority Asif Jan Siddiqui visited the major development projects being implemented with the support of the Sindh government. On this occasion, he reviewed the ongoing construction work on Munawar Chowrangi Underpass and received a detailed briefing on the progress of the project. Chief Engineer KDA Abdul Samad Jamlani briefed the Director General KDA that the construction work of Munawar Chowrangi Underpass has almost been completed. Under the project, the work of transferring the gas pipeline will be completed by next week, after which the underpass will be opened to the public. Director General KDA Asif Jan Siddiqui directed the concerned officers to complete the remaining work within the stipulated time frame and to high standards so that the citizens can be provided with travel facilities as soon as possible. During the visit, Member Finance KDA Naveed Anwar Siddiqui, Chief Engineer Abdul Samad Jamlani, Superintending Engineer Junaid Siddiqui and concerned executive engineers were also present. Later, the Director General KDA visited Scheme 33, where he inspected the ongoing development works in Sectors 26 and 27. On this occasion, the construction progress of a four-kilometer-long road connecting Saadi Town to Motorway M-9 with the financial support of the Sindh government was also reviewed. DG KDA Asif Jan Siddiqui directed the concerned officers to further expedite the completion of the project and complete all development works in a timely and quality manner and make the road functional for the public as soon as possible so that the citizens can get better travel facilities.
