Meeting between Director General, Karachi Development Authority, Asif Jan Siddiqui and Director General Audit (Works), Altaf Ahmed Shaikh.
Director General Karachi Development Authority Asif Jan Siddiqui met Director General Audit (Works) Karachi Altaf Ahmed Sheikh at the Civic Center. Audit Officer Waseem Ahmed, Senior Auditor Yasir Sarwar, Member Finance KDA Naveed Anwar Siddiqui, Secretary KDA Arshad Khan, Chief Engineer Abdul Samad Jamlani and other senior officers of the institution were also present in the meeting. During the meeting, the Director General Audit was given a detailed briefing regarding the ongoing audit in the institution. On this occasion, a comprehensive briefing was also given by the Engineering Department on the progress, financial affairs and technical aspects of the ongoing and completed development projects of KDA. Director General Audit Altaf Ahmed Sheikh said that a transparent, effective and timely audit system plays a key role in promoting financial discipline, accountability and good governance in any institution, which further improves the overall performance of the institution. On this occasion, Director General KDA Asif Jan Siddiqui said that instructions have been issued to all the concerned officers of the institution to provide the required records and all relevant documents in a timely manner during the audit process, so that the audit process can be completed in complete transparency, convenience and professionalism. At the end of the meeting, Member Finance KDA Naveed Anwar Siddiqui presented a commemorative shield to Director General Audit (Works) Altaf Ahmed Sheikh on behalf of the institution.
