	Director General Karachi Development Authority Asif Jan Siddiqui visited the previously recovered KDA land in Gulistan-e-Jauhar Block 1. The Karachi Development Authority is engaged in large-scale operations against encroachments across the city. In this regard, Director General Karachi Director General KDA Asif Jan Siddiqui along with Chief Engineer KDA Abdul Samad Jilani visited Korangi Sewerage Channel in Korangi Industrial Area. In view of the implementation of the rain emergency by Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, Director General KDA Asif Jan Siddiqui visited the Korangi Director General KDA Asif Jan Siddiqui and Deputy Commissioner Central Taha Saleem visited different areas of Karachi and personally assessed the situation arising due to the heavy rains. The Karachi Development Authority is engaged in large-scale operations against encroachments across the city. In this regard, Director General Karachi Development Authority Asif Jan Siddiqui visited the KDA land allotted in the past in Gulistan-e-Jauhar Block 1. It should be noted that according to reliable information, a nursery was constructed by the University of Karachi on the KDA land adjacent to the Silver Gate of the University of Karachi. Moreover, during the year 2023, the Karachi Development Authority was renovating an empty office on the government land of Gulistan-e-Jauhar Block 1 that was given away during the anti-encroachment operation. During the visit of the DG KDA and the officers and employees of the institution, the University of Karachi administration demonstrated illegal and immoral interference using students, due to which the University of Karachi and the administration unsuccessfully tried to disrupt the law and order situation. On this occasion, DG KDA Asif Jan Siddiqui said that the operation will continue without discrimination until 100 percent success is achieved against encroachments. He further said that the KDA Anti-Encroachment Department has been strictly instructed to liberate KDA lands from the encroachment mafia at all costs. If necessary, cooperation should be obtained from law enforcement agencies and KDA lands should be protected from malicious acts by further increasing the manpower and machinery.
