Director General Karachi Development Authority Asif Jan Siddiqui met with Deputy Commissioner Karachi Central Taha Saleem at the Civic Center. The meeting was held in a pleasant, purposeful and constructive atmosphere. During the meeting, various administrative issues related to ongoing and proposed development projects in Karachi city, improvement of urban infrastructure, land and property issues, encroachments, traffic discipline, drainage, and public facilities were discussed in detail. On this occasion, special emphasis was placed on the fact that close coordination, mutual cooperation and joint strategy between all relevant institutions are indispensable for sustainable and effective solutions to the problems faced by citizens. Director General KDA Asif Jan Siddiqui said that the Karachi Development Authority is striving to fulfill its constitutional and legal responsibilities for the planning, development and provision of urban facilities of the city, while ensuring the achievement of development goals through collaboration with various government institutions. He expressed his determination that KDA would utilize all available resources for the overall development of Karachi and improvement of the quality of life of its citizens. Deputy Commissioner Karachi Central Taha Saleem assured the district administration of full cooperation with the Karachi Development Authority and said that coordinated measures and institutional coordination to solve the problems of the city are the need of the hour. He said that the mutual communication between the district administration and KDA will be made more effective so that timely and lasting solutions to public problems can be made possible. Member Administration Shakeel Siddiqui, Director Land Atif Hussain Naqvi, Additional Director Estate and Enforcement Muhammad Arif were present on the occasion.
