In view of the implementation of the rain emergency by Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, Director General KDA Asif Jan Siddiqui visited the Korangi Director General KDA Asif Jan Siddiqui and Deputy Commissioner Central Taha Saleem visited different areas of Karachi and personally assessed the situation arising due to the heavy rains. 	Director General Karachi Development Authority (KDA) Asif Jan Siddiqui has said that the Karachi Development Authority (KDA) is playing a key role in the planning and development of the city, and the Greater Karachi Regional Plan 2047 is a significant development in this regard. He said this while meeting a high-level delegation of Urban Development Projects Sindh. The meeting was held at the KDA’s main office, Civic Center Karachi. The delegation was led by Mr. Hong Soo Lee (Urban Development Specialist), while the team members included Rabia Arif and Mumtaz Hali Poto. During the meeting, the historical status of the Karachi Master Plan and the future of the Greater Karachi Regional Plan 2047 were discussed in detail. DG KDA Asif Jan Siddiqui assured the delegation that the Karachi Development Authority (KDA) will continue to provide full support in every stage of the preparation and completion of the Greater Karachi Regional Plan 2047. He said that the completion of this project will give Karachi a prominent position among the developed cities, and the citizens will get modern and quality basic facilities. The delegation was given a detailed briefing on the administrative and technical aspects of the Greater Karachi Regional Plan by Project Director Muhammad Arshad Khan. He said that the relevant departmental officers are playing an active role in the completion of this important project. At the end of the meeting, the delegation appreciated the efforts of the Karachi Development Authority and expressed its best wishes for the success of the project. Project Director Greater Karachi Muhammad Arshad Khan, Member Finance Muhammad Kashif Khan, Member Admin Shakeel Siddiqui, Senior Director Land Jamil Ahmed and other relevant officers were also present on the occasion.
