Construction and development of the city and provision of basic facilities to the citizens are among the priorities, all possible steps are being taken to stabilize the Karachi Development Authority economically. As Director General KDA all focus is on improving economic policies and ensuring implementation of these decisions, every aspect is being reviewed for substantial increase in new sources of income. The institution will once again join the ranks of developed institutions and will play a significant role in the construction and development of the city. These views were expressed by Director General of Karachi Development Authority Naveed Anwar while visiting Sarjani Town for 4 hours. During the visit, DG KDA Naveed Anwar issued orders to Chief Engineer KDA Tariq Rafi that the carpentry of 20 feet wide and 82 feet long road around KDA Flats Sarjani Town should be done on an emergency basis while Sarjani Town. In order to ensure the supply of cheap items to the citizens in the month of Ramadan, Director Bachat Bazar Syed Obaid Ahmed should immediately take steps to establish a Bachat Bazar at the DA bus stand boundary wall, to ensure that in the Bachat Bazar Affordable items should be provided to the citizens. DG KDA gave orders to the Director of Public Housing and said that all vacant flats, shops and lands located in Sarjani Town should be identified and offered for auction and the encroachments in Sarjani Town should be immediately removed and the lands transferred. will also be auctioned, due to which the source of income of the organization will increase further. While inspecting the inactive ground in Sarjani town, he directed the concerned authorities to develop a stadium through public-private partnership where the new generation will have access to the best sports activities.
