Sindh Local Government Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah visited the ongoing construction work of Karimabad Underpass.

Sindh Local Government Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah visited the ongoing construction work of Karimabad Underpass and reviewed the progress of the project in detail. Director General KDA Asif Jan Siddiqui, Chief Engineer KDA Abdul Samad Jamlani, Project Director Junaid Ahmed and other concerned officers were also present on the occasion. During the visit, the Sindh Local Government Minister expressed satisfaction with the pace and quality of the work being done on the project and directed that all obstacles be removed immediately so that there is no delay in the completion of the project. He said that during the project, gas, electricity and sewage lines should be shifted to an alternative location immediately so that the construction process can continue without interruption. He directed the concerned agencies to ensure effective arrangements for the convenience of the public and maintenance of traffic flow during the work. Sindh Local Government Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah said on the occasion that the completion of Karimabad Underpass will provide significant convenience in transportation to the people of North Nazimabad, Gulberg, Liaquatabad and other areas. He further said that the Sindh government is utilizing all resources to improve urban facilities so that better infrastructure can be provided to the citizens of Karachi. The Sindh Local Government Minister directed the officers present on the spot to complete the work of the underpass quickly and not to compromise on quality. He expressed his determination that the project would be completed and opened for the citizens as soon as possible.
