	Director General Karachi Development Authority Asif Jan Siddiqui made a surprise visit to the Land Department, Estate and Enforcement Department and Record Room located at KDA Civic Center. The purpose of the visit was to review the quality of public services, listen to the problems of the citizens directly and issue instructions for the improvement of administrative matters. During the visit, DG KDA met the citizens present in the Land Department and asked them questions about their pending land matters, difficulties faced and the attitude of the staff. The citizens informed them of their problems, on which the DG issued immediate orders to the concerned officers for immediate resolution. He gave clear instructions that for the convenience of the public, all land-related actions should be carried out transparently, quickly and on merit. Later, during a meeting with the officers at the Estate and Enforcement Department, DG KDA took a detailed review of the ongoing operations against illegal constructions and encroachments across the city. He directed that the campaign against encroachments should be continued without discrimination and the city's government land should be kept free from illegal encroachments at all costs. Finally, during the visit to the record room, Director General KDA Asif Jan Siddiqui took a detailed review of the safe records of citizens and expressed satisfaction over the security and organization of the records. He appreciated the performance of the staff who took good care of the records and said that the safe records of citizens are a valuable asset of the institution, the protection of which is the top priority. The Director General KDA urged the officers of all departments to consider public service as their mission, maintain order in the offices and not delay in resolving the legitimate problems of the people.
